I'll Wait

This is a poem i wrote after the homecoming dance.

does he even know
or does he not care?
can he see my pain
knowing hes right there.
i watch, i wait.
he stares, too late.
time goes by its all the same.
how much longercan i play this game?
i play, i grin
he lives, who'll win?
does he know its
killing me slowly?
or he's acting
ohh so coldly?
i blink my eye.
tonight flies by.
he is nowhere
to be found.
even though
i look around.
i know, i'll wait
you cant rush fate.
