The play i was in was a great success. We did wonderful, I am so glad I did this because I made a lot of GREAT new friends and shared some great moment like cracked up ziti, humping lockers, and running around in underwear. :) I really wanna thank my friends DF, VW, and JC; if it weren't for them i would not have even auditioned.
If you are ever considering trying out for the school play, do it! You'll have a blast and its a great feeling knowing you put a lot of work into something, you get proud of it, and the best part...no the second best part is the applause and having your friends come see you. The best part (like I already said) is the friends you make.
I wanna make a special note to all of you that came to see Annie, THANK YOU!! It really means a lot to me and everyone else in the play. I really hope you liked it. :D

Everything All Rolled Into One
I havent posted in a while, so...even though i hate adding more then one thought to a post i am today/night, cause i dont seem to have any free time lately.
Thanksgiving:
Its soo fun. I mean you can get embarrassing stories about your family you can pass down to your kids. Who wouldnt want that? But family is great, they are always there for you kinda like friends but people tend to get along with friends better. And even if you dont have family to celebrate thanksgiving friends are always a great substitute.
Friends/Drama:
Recently I have been around alot of drama, not only because im in the school play although that's what im talking about, and its not fun! Personally I find it annoying when people complain (yes, that's what i consider it) to me about other people, i do it too but i try not to. And with something like venting you cant vent to just anyone cause they can turn around and tell that person.
Love/Like:
Firstly it is soooo annoying when a guy, at least for me, a guy constantly and i mean more than once maybe every 2 days messages me and asks "whats up?" at least have something planned to say when you get the question back....then it doesnt seem like a waste of my time.
Next, why do people, including me, seem to let others control their emotions. Of cause the people with the control normally dont know it so they cant be doing it on purpose.
Its funny how you can wish with all your heart for someone to be happy. And it just doesnt seem to happen....something always goes wrong for them...and you wish that you could just take their problems away from them, even tackle them yourself. If only that could happen....would YOU? I would.

Getting Older
Well first off I want people to see this video, mainly because its cute and I think its true. ( and yes i did get this off myspace.)
Enchanted music video
Now...back to what I originally wanted to post about.
My Birthday is in less than 2 days, I'll actually be 15 in less than 28 hours. I dont want to get older! I mean of course I do, but I feel like once I reach a certain age I wont be able to act like a kid anymore or do kid stuff. Of course I'll be able to but Im almost 15....and when Im 20 its gonna seem like only maybe a year went by.
People take what they have now for granted too much. They dont appreciate the time they have, the people they know, and the events that one day will be memories. Its is so much harder to remember the past than appreciate the present...Some even become to wrapped up in what they want for the future they forget the past and ignore the present, losing those they care about.
Im just not ready to give up being 14. You know whats funny? You know how every year your parents ask, "So do you feel older?" You always answer no, but last year I did feel older, not much but I did. Now I feel alot older before my birthday... next thing I know I'll be graduating high school, going to college, getting married....life goes by way too fast.
Its kinda sad how, even though there isnt alot of time to live people do stupid things like: kill people, smoke, do drugs, speed, and constantly put themselves in dangerous situations. Most of these cause those people to spend alot of time in jail, or getting killed way before the should have...

Mother Culture...There She Is!!!
Well...over the summer I had to read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn for my AP class. It is a very good book, and short, i highly recommend it, especially if you like thought provoking reads.
Anyway a main theme or idea in Ishmael is Mother Culture. And what Mother Culture is, is the voice/story that our civilization follows without even realizing we are doing it. And thanks to a friends blog and recent events of JK Rowling announcing Dumbledore is/was gay, I got the idea for this blog.
Why is it that we let society and our peers think for us? Why cant we make our own decisions? And why is it that if someone has a different view from everyone else, they are labeled in a usually cruel manor by their peers? Things like this are what stops new ideas from rising, if people are afraid of what their peers will think they'll keep their mouth shut! And its also why some people dont know their friends as well as they thought.
Most people are hardly their full self at all times. Probably each part that you may see are a part of the person yet with different people another part shows and in different situations. And unless a person is 100% comfortable with another, I think they will never be themselves.
Hmmm...thats it i guess.

Eww! You Do That...
It occurred to me, that America is a great country. It allows its citizens to believe in multiple religions, but the people arent tolerant of those religions or traditions of those religions. And this is really leading to something else. Also other countries probably have less pressure for appearances.
Now, heres what Im getting at. Here in America if you're a girl and you dont shave your legs by the time your in middle school, people make fun of you or criticize you...so much for looks dont matter right. The same with clothes...Im going a little something here but...take underwear, if girls dont wear thongs there considers i dont know..prude? But does anyone ever consider what parent say and that could effect the way the girl dresses and grooms. And why do like 90% of young girls wear make-up? Its stupid, you shouldnt need to hide your face just to get guys to like you or so people wont mock you.
I really had another thought to blog about...that was school related, but I kinda forgot it.

Achoo!! Ick...
Being sick in high school really sucks! Well if nothing exiting is happening then no it doesnt. Like its fine to stay home in middle school, but in high school different things usually happen everyday.
Ok, my dad asked if i wanted to stay home tomorrow...I would have said yes. But I said not really, cause I have to do something very important and 10th graders have to take the PSAT tomorrow.
In high school the teachers seem to be more "Ohh I need to see an excused note." I mean it really shouldn't matter if we skip school once in awhile. School seems to be a little jail, especially the way my school is, its a free country so why is it if a police officer catches you outside school, during school, you get in to trouble? Its ridiculous.
It is nice, though, to be catered to by your parents. :D
Im sorry for any crappyness of this blog.

Homecoming!
Ok, im doing this now because i dont like doing two posts in one day and i thought the poem was more important. Ohh and I'm done trying to find a guy to do their opinion, if you are a guy, i know you, and you want to say your opinion on girls let me know.
So homecoming is awesome...showing spirit for your school is what high school is all about...well not really but whatever. I really think that seniors from last year are supposed to comeback but they didn't.
What rocks is winning your homecoming game 38:7, having an awesome dance, and for the ladies getting hair&nails done, getting a dress and jewelry.
Dancing is great...such a fun way to express yourself....
And yes, i realize this post is mostly random thoughts.

I'll Wait
This is a poem i wrote after the homecoming dance.
does he even know
or does he not care?
can he see my pain
knowing hes right there.
i watch, i wait.
he stares, too late.
time goes by its all the same.
how much longercan i play this game?
i play, i grin
he lives, who'll win?
does he know its
killing me slowly?
or he's acting
ohh so coldly?
i blink my eye.
tonight flies by.
he is nowhere
to be found.
even though
i look around.
i know, i'll wait
you cant rush fate.
does he even know
or does he not care?
can he see my pain
knowing hes right there.
i watch, i wait.

Pleasant Suprises
Im sure a lot of you clean your room, and maybe once a year you actually go through all your stuff and it takes you forever to clean because you're reading a year book, looking at pictures, or finding stuff you havent seen since you were 8.
Well I wasnt exactly cleaning, more like throwing papers away that were on my floor. Then I found a note...I didnt know it was a note till I opened it. Im not going to say everything it said, but it started out "you look down" and ended "i hope it made you smile." Surprisingly it did make me smile, even inspired me to blog about it.
It was written by a friend of mine and it just made me think...even if we arent as close as we once were they'll almost always be there for me. I just find it a little strange that I found it now, havent seen it in a year...and now when I havent been as happy as normal, I find it. Its cool how the world works.

Look at Them, They're Every Where...
BOYS!!
Im really sorry to all the guys I know, for this post, but I need to get this out and maybe I'll be better. I know its weird, but I promise I'll find a guy to write a...umm...whats the word? I dont know...whatever... a thing like what Im gonna do only about girls. And if that sentence made any sense then whoo!
Guys! what their deal? Most, more like all, the guys i know are great people to know. Really. But WHY do they have to be so confusing. I mean yea girls hardly stick to one guy, but when they do, they tell or make it known that they like the guy. Weather or not the guy likes her back...but you would think the kind thing to do is tell the girl...let her move on. Its really not that hard, its not like we're gonna break...maybe temporarily hurt but what doesnt kill you makes you stronger (and no thats not from the song) and the sooner the girl knows he doesnt like her the easier it'll be to move on.
And would it kill a guy to actually share what he thinks or feels!? Most likely not. You try to talk to one and you get one word answers (unless you're Jacob Black...yep i finished it) then they wonder why girls talk so much...we gotta fill the space some how.
Why do guys all ways feel they gotta show off? It normally makes them look immature or stupid...no offence...but mouthing off to a teacher or purposely annoying someone or making fun of someone is NOT cool. Like skate bored tricks or and unusual talent or a current hobby is fine...its ok to be proud of that kind of stuff.
I love them...really sometimes they are better friends than girls, and you can just talk and not worry about their opinion cause they normally wont share it (yes, i am aware that im kinda contradicting myself) and sometimes girls need to just talk...kinda like a psychologist, haha im funny(inside my own head, inside joke). Its just they can cause a girl soo much misery, even if they dont mean it and if they do mean it then they are jerks.

And The Drama Queen Is...
I love drama! and i mean both Drama in theater and as problems in school/social life. I mean too much people drama is not good, but in small amounts its entertaining.
Now what i really love is Drama. Everyone is sooo supportive. When i went to audition for the play, i loved how everyone cheered each other on no matter what...if someone was scared they were encouraged. Personally, i think Drama people are super easy to become friends with, they accept practically everyone...but if you think about it most kids in school are accepting to some degree. But I LOVE how there is so much randomness...i live on random. Yeppers...Im gonna be putting more about this in the future cause Im in the play.
For people drama, its just fun. There're guys (or girls..appealing to the sexes here), grades, friends, and family. Its EVE-RY-WHERE! You just have to look hard enough...even if you dont think you have drama you probably do. Im not gonna deny it but i have drama too...most of these blogs are probably the result of drama.
Thats probably enough for now.

I hate it when my dad treats me like im five. Ok in young, i'll acknowledge that much but whopde-do (haha made up a spelling). Im in 10th grade for crying out loud and very mature for my age (note: i said age not grade). Now im aware this is gonna sound sooo stupid but whatever.
Yesterday Maria took me shopping with her and corey(if u dont know who they are ohh well) i got a candle holder. its soo pretty...anyway my dad was at a contractors class and when he got home he came in my room and said, "I like your candle."i said thank you "I dont like it lit, can you blow it out please."
Well do i really have a choose?....HELL NO!! He would have taken it and i'd never see it again. but quite frankly id like that better cause not its just so tantalizing...
Whatever...grr! I hope i can fix my log-in problem soon...its killing me knowing i can voice my thoughts whenever i want now...:(

And thats how....FOOD!!
Yep, Im dedicating this post to the broad subject of food...not because Im hungry but because food is so interesting. It affects our lives in so many ways: it gives us strength and weakness, can run our life, and much more.
Ok... food is very tempting, like if you're on a diet and u have chips and brownies all over...you cant have that stuff so what do you do? you get healthy stuff or get rid of it all together. Great for families with people who aren't on a diet and those people have to suffer by eating large salads for diner*cough*
Then theres the power food has over us, too little amount and you pass out, too much you get fat. Some food can make people do things they would never do, good or bad. Then in school they make you wait a least six hours before we can eat. So we starve and cant concentrate because we're so hungry. And they dont let us eat in class...
...this is getting too long for me...or not... but i dont really feel like typing any more. So I'll probably write a series about food. Isnt that wonderful?

System Meltdown!!
I dont know if all schools operate the same way mine does...i know where i used to live my schools were more organized and made sense.
My school apparently doesnt know how to arrange students so they are in the classes they want with the right number of students during the summer so the decide "Hey lets screw-up these kids schedule just for the heck of it". Now you would think that they would deal with the students who want schedule changes. They probably just draw names out of a hat.
Now what makes no sense is there are students who want schedule changes...do they get them no, apparently their reasons arent good enough...Ohh well, thats what parents are for right, the only ones my schools afraid of...although our principal might be afraid of kids...I'll have to ponder this :D

Wake Up!!!
Why dont alarm clocks work? You know you set them before you go to bed, then in the morning they dont go off, you miss the bus and get to school 30 minutes late. Now in most cases thats not good, but when you have the most boring class first and you are tired....well lets just say the cafeteria is a lot more fun.
And last year, i woke up an hour earlier, because my clock said it was 5:30. so i get ready and everything...i go to the bus stop and I realize its pitch black out. I walk back home...every clock in the kitchen says 5:20. (it takes about an hour to get ready)
So dont always trust your alarm clocks people...they are conspiring against us.

Yea Right
I have NO idea why i was so bummed out yesterday... This years gonna rock, i can just feel it.
As long as i got my friends everything will be fine. And even though i make fun of the lil freshmen the ones on my bus are awesome. Just like me and a few other people were.

First Day....
of 10th grade...it was great!! (really it was)
now from a normal persons perspective it sucked, just a tad. I'm really worried bout the work load for this year....curse me for being smart and wanting to "challenge" myself. The only normal classes i have are psychology and web design. AP world his, chem hon, English 2 hon, pre-cal...and apparently Spanish 3 is and honers class.... are the mean ones....so Whoo-hoo for me!!
I got home and practacly calapsed on my bed...summer seems to have a negative effect. Dont know how the AP kids do it...props to you guys!!! On top of the classes im taking, im going to either be in the play or help with it and do Interact. So if i dont die this year it would be a miracle.
