A Poisoned Apple

Okay this post was not planed, in fact the inspiration just came to me a minute ago.

So there i was, being lazy like i am, eating chips an dip. Yea I know not the healthiest thing in the world to eat for breakfast (i sleep really late over the summer) but like i said: lazy. Then I started to not feel well and I started looking for something else. I choose Bagel Bites.....the reason for this post.

Now (bear with me) I opened the box and on the plastic was a coupon. The cover said "WE BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW", i put that a side and started cooking the bagel bites. Then I opened it and it started telling how Bagel Bites are healthier for you than a PB&J sandwich. Im like wtf! Im pretty sure kids would want the sandwich and stay full than eat a million little bagels to get full. The under the chart it has the asterisks, and says how its for a serving of bagel bites and 1 sandwich. And guess what a serving size is 4 pieces...thats really gonna fill you up. And guess how many came in the box...9. I have eaten all nine so i just put 472.5 calories, 15.75 grams of fat, and 6.75 grams of sugar in to my body. When the PB&J only has 379 calories, 18 grams of fat, and 16 grams of sugar.

Yes. I am aware that the PB&J has more fat and sugar, but think of where that comes from you eat 2 servings of bread, protein, and a form of fruit. it would take 2 servings of bites to reach 2 servings of bread, probably 3 to reach one for cheese and more to reach one for meat or protein.

Basically its bothering me that America the "best" country in the world, should need to worry about calories. If we truly were the best we wouldnt need to worry. And that companies try to disguise there products to be better than they are. Then those who are obese, when its to late for the average American (because of laziness), complain.
